For our "Water & Environment" division, we are looking for our French-speaking Switzerland team a
Group Leader in Urban Hydraulics (80-100%)
This position is to be filled in French-speaking Switzerland, ideally in Lausanne, Sion, or Geneva (to be discussed).
In this exciting role, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians active in the field throughout French-speaking Switzerland. You will be responsible for business development, the technical and financial soundness of your projects, and you will contribute to the development of the team, the unit, and the division in line with the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, innovation spirit, and friendliness.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
- Manage projects within your area of expertise
- Ensure the technical quality of your group's projects and validate deliverables produced by your group
- Monitor project finances in collaboration with project managers
- Participate in establishing the business plan and unit budget
- Supervise the monitoring of your group's KPIs, including profitability, production, and billing
- Drive the commercial development of your group's activities, in coordination with the unit and in collaboration with other entities
- Conduct monitoring with Swiss authorities (notably VSA, SVGW)
- Ensure optimal coordination of personnel allocation within your group
- Manage daily HR issues and promote cohesion by organizing activities that strengthen team spirit
COULD IT BE YOU?
Holder of an EPF/HES engineering degree in hydraulics or environment (or equivalent), you have proven experience in the field in Switzerland.
You master Swiss standards, bring your experience in drinking water and sanitation projects, and benefit from a good local network.
You bring the following skills:
- Proactive in continuous improvement within the group and unit;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, respecting deadlines and optimizing resource organization;
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in force in Switzerland and various cantons;
- Fluent in French, with German and English as additional assets;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for working in multidisciplinary teams;
- Organizational skills and ability to propose pragmatic and effective solutions.
