Your main tasks

• Design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructures
• Responsibility for network availability, performance, and security
• Monitoring and analyzing network data to detect and resolve disruptions
• Support of network customers and partners
• Support and training of junior network engineers and users
• Handling network support tickets for customers at second & third level
• Documentation of network configurations, changes, and standards
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and customer retention

Your strengths and knowledge

• Several years of professional experience in the network field
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networks and network protocols
• Extensive experience with network operating systems (e.g., Cisco IOS, Huawei VRP, Fortinet FortiOS)
• Knowledge in network security (e.g., firewalls, VPN, SDWAN, ZTNA)
• Basic knowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF
• Basic understanding of project management and customer contact
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Willingness for continuous further education
• Certifications in network engineering at administration level (e.g., CCNA, NSE4) are an advantage
• Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Independent and reliable working style
