To strengthen the team, we are looking for a committed individual as a System Engineer in the operational field.
- You are responsible for the administration and operation of the Windows, Linux, VMware, network and VDI infrastructure
- In case of faults, you systematically analyse errors, narrow down causes and initiate appropriate recovery, restart, restore and escalation procedures
- You integrate new and changed software into operational use and ensure its proper integration into the system platforms
- You monitor system loads, backup processes and information security and implement defined security and monitoring policies on site
- As a second-level contact person, you support the Technical Operator with more complex IT and operational faults and collaborate with third-level support if necessary
- You have solid practical experience in the Microsoft Server, SQL and VMware environment; relevant certifications and knowledge of ITIL V5 are advantageous
- You are familiar with ICT security and have basic knowledge of secure system configuration, patch management and backup strategies
- Ideally, you have experience with ERP systems such as SAP and are open to new technologies and AI applications
- You work independently, reliably and conscientiously and are willing to undertake assignments throughout Switzerland as well as occasional irregular working and weekend hours
- Very good German as well as good spoken English and/or French are part of your profile

Profile
- You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or system technician, ideally complemented by a higher technical college (HF) qualification- You have solid practical experience in the Microsoft Server, SQL and VMware environment; relevant certifications and knowledge of ITIL V5 are advantageous
