Role:
In this role, you are responsible for the smooth operation of specialised applications and ensure that they are available in a stable, secure, and high-performance manner. You analyse complex requirements, coordinate adjustments with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the quality of the implemented solutions. As the professional hub between medicine, IT, and other stakeholders, you bring your medical expertise specifically into the further development of the applications. Additionally, you define and optimise processes, guidelines, and standards for application operation and monitor their compliance. Through your structured approach and strong solution orientation, you contribute significantly to ensuring that the application landscape optimally supports clinical processes.
Responsibilities:
- You take responsibility for the clinical information system and performance recording, including parameterisation, organisation, and support.
- In this role, you ensure high data quality and create meaningful reports and evaluations.
- As the person responsible for application operation, you participate in the planning, implementation, and integration of new solutions as well as system adjustments.
- You coordinate collaboration with specialist departments, IT, and software suppliers and clarify requirements and technical issues.
- In this role, you support the creation of training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- As the person responsible for application operation, you answer user questions and resolve problems for all involved professional groups.
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training with a focus on IT, healthcare, or a comparable field (e.g., medical informatics, business informatics).
- Several years of practical experience in application responsibility (e.g., CIS, ERP, or comparable systems) or in a clinical environment.
- Confident handling of Windows systems, high IT affinity, and ideally basic knowledge of SQL.
- Good understanding of hospital processes and the clinical treatment environment.
- Strong communication skills to mediate between specialist departments and IT and to explain complex content clearly.
- Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style with networked, solution-oriented thinking and very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
