As Head of Maintenance & Occupational Safety, you will take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of the maintenance team and ensure a high availability of our machines and systems. At the same time, you are responsible for the further development of occupational safety, health protection, and the safety organisation.
Responsibilities:
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the maintenance team with three employees
Ensuring high machine and system availability as well as building, maintaining, and optimising preventive maintenance plans
Further development of the maintenance strategy and definition of maintenance standards
Building, maintaining, and monitoring occupational safety in the company
Planning and further development of the safety concept
Conducting hazard identification, risk assessments, and accident analyses as well as deriving and implementing appropriate measures
Organising and conducting training and instructions in the area of occupational safety
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a polymechanic or comparable technical training in an industrial environment
Several years of experience as a maintenance manager as well as a safety officer
Further training in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) is mandatory; federal specialist certificate as ASGS specialist is an advantage
Further training in maintenance is desirable
Very good technical understanding and sound knowledge of production processes
Knowledge of EKAS guidelines, VKF regulations, and the Labour Act
