Senior System Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)

We are looking to fill the position immediately or by arrangement:

Your tasks

Your area of responsibility extends from conception, through implementation to maintenance of our customers' cloud and hybrid infrastructure, combined with IT project management at our customers.

You work in the IT system engineering team in a varied daily routine with personal responsibility and plenty of customer contact - by phone, in writing and directly on site with the customer. There are interfaces with the Consulting & Sales team, who are the primary contacts for our customers. In addition to your role as a Senior IT System Engineer, you take on project management for our customer projects from analysis and conception through project planning and execution to a clean completion.

The most important activities:

• Conception, implementation and maintenance of cloud and hybrid infrastructures as well as technical optimisation for existing customers
• Requirements gathering and documentation in direct customer contact
• Management and implementation of customer projects and leadership of the project team (technical leadership)
• Reporting on project status
• Creation and sustainable maintenance of documentation

What you bring with you

You have a qualification in platform development (formerly system engineering) EFZ and have several years of professional experience in system engineering. We are fans of Microsoft products such as Azure Cloud Services, Microsoft 365 and OneDrive for Business - you are well acquainted with these and enjoy working with this product range.

Longer working hours during infrastructure migrations are fine for you, as this is part of the job. You are good with people, committed, responsible and ready to join our mission to offer our services and solutions at the highest quality. You are proficient in German spoken and written, understand Swiss German and manage well with technical English.

• IT project management
• Client and server hardware
• On-premises & cloud Microsoft infrastructures
• Troubleshooting around backup, firewall and WLAN
• Services such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, AVD
