As a Development Engineer Electrical Engineering / Measurement Technology, you develop innovative precision measurement technology for demanding sensor applications and integrate it into modern production systems. You operate at the interface of electrical engineering, measurement technology, physics and software development and accompany your solutions from conception through prototyping to commissioning. In close collaboration with interdisciplinary specialists, you develop technically sophisticated solutions and actively contribute to the further development of our products and processes.
Responsibilities:
Development of electronic solutions for precision measurement technology and various sensor applications
Integration of measurement technology into production systems, for example wafer probers
Development and programming of software for operation and control of measurement systems
Implementation of data exchange via APIs and web services
Setup, commissioning and testing of prototypes
Conducting measurements, tests and technical verifications
Analysis and optimisation of measurement systems and electronic components
Close interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists from electronics, mechanics, software and measurement technology
Qualifications:
Completed studies at ETH/university with a focus on electrical engineering or comparable technical education
Enthusiasm for a broad technical spectrum of physics, measurement technology, electronics and software development
Good programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB
Interest in the development and integration of hardware and software solutions
Ability to independently plan and prioritise tasks and consistently implement set goals
Very good German and English skills spoken and written
