Operational Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner specialises in the design and manufacture of ships for a variety of professional applications. This includes ships for public passenger transport, tourist activities, the transport of goods, as well as special authority and rescue boats. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, from strategic maintenance planning to short-term technical deployments.
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible for operational procurement and ensure that materials and services are available on time and economically. You work closely with project management, design, production, and logistics departments and contribute to a smooth procurement process.
Responsibilities:
Obtain, compare, and economically assess offers from suppliers
Create, manage, and track orders in the ERP system
Monitor delivery dates and ensure timely material availability
Check and correctly post creditor invoices
Continuously maintain and update supplier, article, and master data
Coordinate collaboration with internal departments and ensure the flow of information
Actively participate in the optimisation of purchasing and procurement processes
Qualifications:
Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship
Professional experience in operational purchasing or a comparable function
Confident handling of ERP systems and common MS Office applications
Independent, structured, and quality-conscious working style
Team-oriented, reliable, and service-minded personality
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
