You will report hierarchically to the management of each of the two services for the tasks within their respective scope.
Post-Compulsory Education and Guidance Service:

In compliance with the cantonal statistics law, you ensure the collection, production, coordination, analysis, dissemination, and archiving of statistical data concerning the canton of Neuchâtel, for areas related to the SFPO's missions.
Your work contributes to providing authorities, the service, state institutions, and the public with relevant, reliable, and coherent statistical information.
Statistics Service:
You ensure the implementation and IT monitoring of dashboards and statistical indicators intended for the Compulsory Education Service (SEEO). You are responsible for the regular updating and IT management of indicators, interactive statistical dashboards, and dedicated databases.
In partnership with SEEO and the IT service (SIEN), you manage the implementation as well as the administrative and operational monitoring of projects, while responding to specific related requests.
Your tasks also include collecting, validating, and disseminating data related to compulsory education in collaboration with school districts and the Federal Statistical Office (OFS), among others.
Finally, you contribute to the collection, production, and dissemination of statistical data through defined media.
Holder of a university master’s degree or an equivalent diploma in economics, social sciences, econometrics, or statistics, you have at least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in public or private statistics. You possess strong skills in carrying out projects related to statistical data analysis and the creation of interactive statistical dashboards, as well as good experience in planning, organising, and executing cross-functional and multidimensional projects.
You are proficient with Windows office tools, especially Excel, as well as R and Tableau+ software. Experience in statistics related to compulsory education (HARMOS levels 1 to 11) would be an asset.
A positive and facilitative mindset, initiative, and great rigour characterise your working style. Comfortable writing in French and with good knowledge of German, you wish to join dynamic, motivated, and agile teams.
