140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With around 350 employees, our Zurich site acts as a global competence centre for high-performance traction technology and a development centre for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems as well as services for the local and global market. Are you the sought-after project manager (m/f/d) full-time for our signalling projects in Switzerland?
Your tasks:
In this role, you manage cross-departmental projects in the field of signalling technology. You oversee one or more projects from planning, implementation, acceptance to warranty in close customer contact with our clients.
- Creation of the project plan, definition of milestones and responsibilities
- Delegation of work packages and monitoring of work results
- Management of the timely, quality- and cost-compliant realisation of project goals
- Continuous monitoring of project progress, if necessary deriving and initiating solution measures
- Ensuring economic success and customer satisfaction
- Technical leadership of the employees involved in the project
- You promote team spirit, coordinate effective project meetings and optimise the flow of information within the project team
Your profile:
You have an eye for the essentials and convince as a assertive personality with diplomatic skill. You act independently, goal- and solution-oriented and possess:
- Successfully completed studies in a technical discipline and several years of professional experience in the railway industry
- Ideally, you have expertise in all common signalling technology terms for local and long-distance traffic or bring experience from similar industries (mechanical and plant engineering, wind energy and aircraft industry)
- Several years of experience in project management and planning
- Strong technical understanding, good knowledge of contract management
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and good orientation skills in foreign cultures
- High communication and teamwork skills
- Persuasiveness and confident appearance in an international environment
- Decisiveness, strategic thinking and commitment
- Fluent German and English skills, French skills advantageous
