Company Description
The School Authority of the Liechtenstein National Administration (www.sa.llv.li) is responsible for the planning, maintenance and further development of the school operations of all public schools as well as the supervision of private schools in Liechtenstein and supports the government in the supervision of higher education institutions. We are responsible for preparing government matters as well as developing legal and planning bases, supporting schools with various services and taking on tasks in regional and international cooperation.
The School Psychological Service is the advisory centre of the School Authority for psychological issues in the school context. Its areas of focus include developmental psychology, neurodiversity, mental health as well as participation and inclusion.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- System-related advice and support for school management and teachers as well as other professionals to promote an inclusive and healthy school
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external specialist agencies
- Professional support for parents, children and adolescents in educational-psychological issues as well as in matters of mental health
- Conducting school psychological assessments and standardised testing procedures
- Preparation of support-oriented diagnoses and recommendations
Qualifications
You are particularly characterised by the following for this position:
- University degree (Master's) in Psychology
- Professional experience in the school psychological field or in-depth knowledge of school teaching settings
- Ideally further training in child and adolescent psychology, systemic counselling or a comparable field
- High advisory and communication competence
- Strong social skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
