With over 1,300 employees, the Department of Psychiatry fulfils a triple mission covering the treatment of mental disorders, training, and research.
Thus, the department's mission is to detect and effectively treat increasingly frequent and diverse pathologies with respect for patients and their relatives.
Organised into six services, the department offers hospital, outpatient, and community services.
The adult psychiatry service is involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders in adults aged 18 to 65. Within outpatient and inpatient units, multidisciplinary teams provide comprehensive care, combining medical treatment, psychotherapies, and social support, in collaboration with external partners.
The position is part of the Young Adult Psychiatry Unit (UPJA), which welcomes young people aged 18 to 25 presenting early mental health disorders. The programme's mission is primarily to assess and identify mental disorders and to offer appropriate early treatment to promote the maintenance or resumption of social and emotional connections as well as social, educational, or professional activities.
In this context, you will join the Young Adult Unit (UPJA) and provide outpatient follow-up for young adult patients. As a psychologist, you will conduct standardised assessments and deliver individual and group psychotherapies tailored to the needs of patients.
You will support young adults with commitment, actively contributing to their care from a recovery perspective. Thanks to your clinical expertise, you will participate in assessing their situation and implementing therapeutic interventions that promote their autonomy and well-being.
In close collaboration with the multidisciplinary teams of the UPJA, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other health professionals, you will take part in clinical meetings and contribute to the development and evolution of therapeutic projects. You will ensure coordinated, coherent, and patient-centred care.
More broadly, you will work in an environment that fosters interprofessional collaboration, skills sharing, and quality care, dedicated to specialised and humane care for young adults.
Qualifications
Holder of a Master’s degree in psychology (or an equivalent qualification), it is essential that you obtain acceptance to the MAS in cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy for the 2026 intake.
You have experience with young adults suffering from mental disorders as well as skills in research and/or standardised assessment of these disorders.
Motivated and committed, you enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team and actively contribute to the collective dynamic.
Interested in research and continuous improvement of practices, you are committed to ongoing development and updating of your skills.
