We have around 1,100 employees and handle 35,000 flights per year for more than 60 airlines worldwide. To strengthen our team, we are looking for the Passenger Service at Geneva airport:

Fixed Duty Officer 100% (M/F) on a permanent contract

Start date : January 2027

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Cargo Import & Export activities, both in the warehouse and the office, while guaranteeing operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your tasks

• Supervise the organisation of daily operations in collaboration with Supervisors and Team Leaders;
• Be responsible for the quality, safety, and security of operations;
• Manage/analyse malfunctions and seek appropriate solutions;
• Control the adequacy of services with customer expectations and communicate proactively with them to ensure optimal resource management;
• Measure and monitor operational performance to ensure the best possible productivity;
• Manage warehouse and office staff (monitor working hours, evaluations, motivation, and team leadership);
• Communicate daily with other Duty Officers, Department Heads, Supervisors and ensure that the required information is properly conveyed to agents;
• Ensure compliance with operational requirements (procedures, quality standards, SLAs, etc.) of airlines and subcontractors;
• Establish and control applicable procedures and standards;
• Coordinate the service skills development plan in collaboration with the Cargo Manager and ensure follow-up of staff with the Training department;
• In the absence of the GVA Cargo Manager, resolve daily issues and make necessary decisions while assessing the urgency of the situation, in collaboration with other Duty Officers in the department;
• Manage relations with various authorities and/or local bodies (customs, veterinary service, etc.) in collaboration with the Cargo Manager;
• Participate in client and subcontractor audits.

Your profile

• Proven experience in logistics and team management;
• Good knowledge of Cargo service operations;
• Decision-making ability and initiative;
• Good listening and communication skills;
• Fluent in French;
• Very good command of English;
• Comfortable with IT systems;
• Flexibility;
• Good stress resistance;
• Good time and priority management;
• Respect for confidentiality;
• Strong sense of responsibility;

Irregular hours every day, including weekends.
