A cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders by adopting an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.
The Department of Childhood and Adolescence is seeking, for a maternity leave replacement, within its child and adolescent psychiatry hospital unit, a:
Nurse
You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross. You wish to join a recognised institution specialised in mental health.
As part of your role, you will be required to:
- Identify the patient’s needs and resources at the start of care intervention and develop care objectives and actions taking into account a comprehensive and interprofessional therapeutic project
- Conduct individual interviews, family and network interviews in collaboration with an interprofessional team
- Co-facilitate therapeutic groups
- Establish written documentation from the beginning to the end of the care intervention
- Manage adolescent child and adolescent psychiatry crisis clinical situations
The skills required for this position are as follows:
- Possess several years of experience in the field of psychiatry, an advantage
- Be flexible and able to work in an interprofessional team
- Demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills
- Have excellent communication skills with adults and adolescents, in French
