For 1 November 2026, we are looking for an Assistant Physician whose activity will take place at the Emergency-Crisis Unit, at a 60% rate, within the Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy North Service (SPPAN), Department of Psychiatry of the CHUV, in Yverdon-les-Bains.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy North Service (SPPAN) is a recognised institution (A1) for the FMH in psychiatry and psychotherapy and D1-S for advanced training in addiction psychiatry and psychotherapy.
The Emergency-Crisis Unit is an outpatient unit offering intensive integrated psychiatric treatments over a short period, responding to demands for emergency follow-up or crisis management as well as psychiatric assessments or consultations. It actively participates in the regional and cantonal reorganisation of emergency response required by the General Directorate of Health of the State of Vaud. For the North Vaud region in particular, this is achieved notably through closer coordination with the Liaison Psychiatry Unit and the on-call hospital service of the SPPAN-CHUV.
