The Prendre Soin et Accompagner Residences (RPSA) are closely linked to the Geneva State Provident Fund (CPEG) as it is their shareholder and property owner. Through a private law foundation and two limited liability companies (Sàrl), all three non-profit, RPSA's mission is to operate buildings for elderly people and offer services adapted to their level of autonomy and security needs.
To complete our teams, we are recruiting a:
Social-Educational Assistant – Permanent Contract
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Proposing, diversifying and refining activity offers in response to the needs and wishes of residents and the expectations of families;
- Energising social, cultural and relational life within the residence, with various internal and external partners, involving them in projects;
- Contributing to reflection on professional practices as well as to the development and recognition of their profession, both internally and externally;
- Participating in the development and implementation of targeted support projects, based on the capacities, desires linked to the projects and life stories of the residents;
- Showing initiative and creativity, while ensuring good priority management in daily organisation;
- Supervising, supporting and assisting interns and apprentices in their practical training, contributing to their professional development and the transmission of the profession's values.
Your profile
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as Social-Educational Assistant;
- FPP training is an asset;
- 3 years of practical experience, ideally in the field of elderly people;
- Category B driving licence, category D1 an asset;
- Spoken and written French;
- Ease in using common IT tools;
- Respectful attitude with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Initiative, creativity and good priority management;
- Reliable person with a strong team spirit.
