Financial Controller with Expertise in Data Analysis
Health Office | 80% | Chur
The Health Office is a central and versatile department of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. It implements federal and cantonal legal ordinances and thus makes a significant contribution to a high-quality, safe and sustainable healthcare provision in the canton. The office is divided into the following specialist areas: Health Promotion and Prevention, Cantonal Medical Service, Licensing and Quality, Rescue, Legal Service and Staff.
For the staff of the Health Office, we are looking for a Financial Controller with expertise in data analysis from January 2027 or by arrangement.
- On-site audits (including reporting) at the eligible healthcare institutions in the areas of hospital statistics, cost accounting, general bookkeeping as well as specific audits according to legal requirements (teaching and research, emergency and patient transport service, training and further education of nursing staff) to determine contributions
- Independent execution of data analyses to prepare statistics and further development of this area
- Calculation and allocation of contributions to service providers for practical training in nursing professions
- Development of service agreements with eligible institutions and preparation of government proposals
- Independent execution of financial supervisory tasks within the framework of applicable regulations
- Higher economic education or equivalent professional diploma or solid commercial training with further education in finance and accounting
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking and strong affinity for numbers
- Independent and precise working style
- Initiative, commitment, assertiveness and strong communication skills
- Confident use of MS Office programmes and AI tools; experience with data analysis applications is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken expression in German; good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
