Senior Production Engineer Position Sensors (a)

About the job

• You take professional responsibility for the further development and stabilisation of our production processes in the field of position sensors and lead improvements from root cause analysis to sustainable implementation to success.
• You analyse technical and process-related challenges directly on the shop floor, apply lean, continuous improvement process (CIP) and structured problem-solving methods, and sustainably increase quality, productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• You actively shape the industrialisation of new products and ensure manufacturability of products and processes from the early development phase to stable series production.
• You lead demanding improvement, automation and digitalisation projects, coordinate internal and external partners and continuously develop production standards.

• You have a technical education or degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics) as well as several years of experience in production, production development or industrialisation.
• You bring a sound understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and assess technical, qualitative and economic contexts holistically.
• You have experience in industrialisation and technical project management, analyse complex problems in a structured manner and confidently apply methods such as lean, CIP, 8D or FMEA.
• You convince as an independent, assertive hands-on personality with an eye for quality, costs and efficiency and know how to successfully bring together different stakeholders and teams.
