For our safety laboratory in Münchwilen within the "Process Hazard Section," we are looking for a laboratory technician to create high-quality experimental safety data.

In this practical laboratory role, you will conduct investigations on process safety, evaluate the results, and document them clearly for the clients. Your work makes a direct contribution to hazard identification and risk assessment of materials and processes.

Job Description

• Conduct laboratory investigations to characterise thermal, chemical, and physical process hazards.
• Sample preparation, operation, and maintenance of specialised testing equipment.
• Evaluation of experimental results, preparation of technical reports, and communication of findings to the project team.
• Support in the development and continuous improvement of laboratory methods, work instructions, workflows, and equipment.
• Close collaboration with process safety specialists, chemists, engineers, and colleagues from development.
• Ensure high standards regarding laboratory order, quality, documentation, and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician EFZ in analytical or synthesis direction or equivalent education.
• Practical laboratory experience; knowledge in calorimetry, thermal analysis, reaction hazards, or process safety is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Careful, structured, and quality-oriented working method in experiments, data evaluation, and documentation.
• Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to an interdisciplinary team.
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.
