Fixed-term position for 1 year with option for extension
PedNet Bern is a service platform to promote clinical research with and for children and adolescents at the Children’s Clinic Bern. Our core business is the conduct of clinical studies together with study teams. PedNet Bern is a team of nine people and a member of SwissPedNet .
What to expect
- Planning and support of clinical studies in compliance with the study protocol as well as ICH-GCP and national regulatory requirements
- Organisation, coordination, execution and documentation of study-specific examinations and interventions such as blood sampling, ECG, infusion therapies, surveys etc. in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Collection, processing, centrifugation, storage and shipment of samples
- Collection and entry of study-specific data into databases
- Maintenance of study-relevant documents such as patient files, Investigator Site File (ISF) / Trial Master File (TMF)
- Preparation and support of monitoring visits
- Correspondence with internal and external partners (e.g. sponsor, monitors, contract research organisation, imaging, laboratory etc.)
- If interested, taking on study coordination tasks such as implementation of protocol amendments, contract management, budget & finance
Your profile
- Completed training as a certified nurse HF/FH
- Nursing knowledge in paediatrics
- Experience in conducting clinical studies and GCP knowledge
- Thorough, organised and independent working style with high initiative
- A flair for administrative tasks, enjoyment of interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
- Very good German and English skills, French skills desirable
- Confident handling of computers, practice software and modern communication tools
