Road Maintenance Worker
Department of Civil Engineering / 80 - 100 % / Bivio
The Department of Civil Engineering is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of the cantonal roads as well as water construction and slow traffic in Graubünden. Additionally, we take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads within the cantonal territory. The road infrastructure of the canton includes over 1,450 structures, including bridges at heights of up to 90 meters and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges posed by the nature of our mountainous canton in summer and winter make our work demanding and diverse. As a Friendly Work Space certified office, we particularly care about the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees. We are looking for a Road Maintenance Worker for the Road Maintenance Department in District 3 Samedan starting September 1, 2025 or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility
- Carrying out road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
- Summer and winter service
- Cleanup and repair work after accidents or natural events
- Monitoring the condition of the roads and road facilities
- Providing on-call service (summer and winter)
