This position is particularly suitable for high school graduates, students, apprentices, as well as people who want to work before military service, during a gap year or in semester holidays and earn good money.

You do not need a completed training in wood construction for this job. What matters is your motivation, physical fitness and willingness to actively help on the construction site.

Wood Construction Assistant 100% (m/f/d) - Holiday Job, Gap Year or Military Service Bridging in Lucerne

  • Assisting with erecting wooden structures
  • Support in element construction, interior finishing and assembly work
  • Working on various wood construction sites in the Canton of Lucerne
  • Supporting carpenters and wood construction specialists
  • Carrying, preparing and providing building materials
  • General assistance work in wood construction
  • Order and cleanliness at the workplace
  • Cooperation with the construction site team


    • Assignments take place from Monday to Friday and last several weeks or months depending on the contract.

    Your profile:
  • You have a permanent residence in the Canton of Lucerne - this requirement is mandatory
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have very good spoken German skills
  • You are physically fit, resilient and enjoy working outdoors
  • You are reliable, punctual and motivated
  • You can think independently and actively pitch in
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • You have manual skills and enjoy working with wood
  • First experience on a construction site is an advantage but not mandatory


    • Important: Only applicants who already live in the Canton of Lucerne will be considered.
