Your mission:

Production management in the finishing sector:

• Production planning: Ensure that the production sector is ready to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Performance monitoring: Control key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cycle times, scrap rates, and downtime.
• Production optimization: Identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Preventive maintenance: Oversee level I preventive maintenance to ensure equipment availability.

Team management:

• Operator supervision: Supervise and lead production teams in the finishing sector, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance with safety instructions.
• Operator training: Provide ongoing training for operators on new procedures, equipment, or safety.
• Team motivation: Ensure a good working atmosphere and employee satisfaction.

Quality management:

• Quality control: Ensure that manufactured products meet the quality standards defined in our eQMS processes.
• Non-conformity handling: Analyze and document non-conformities and their causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Compliance with safety standards: Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and guarantee a safe working environment for operators.

Report and communication management:

• Production report writing: Provide regular reports on performance, including data on productivity, quality, and maintenance.
• Communication with management: Communicate problems, needs, or suggestions to the Production Manager to ensure good coordination.

Continuous improvement

• Participation in improvement projects: Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to improve production processes.
• Process analysis: Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Monitoring indicators and dashboards:

• Production dashboards: Set up and monitor dashboards to have clear visibility of the packaging sector's performance.
• Performance analysis: Analyze gaps between production targets and reality to implement corrective actions.

Your profile:

• As a Finishing Manager, you bring proven experience in operational fields.
• You have at least 5 years of experience managing production teams.
• You have a technical education as well as additional training in Lean Management or leadership.
• A strategic vision, the ability to interconnect, and strong personal responsibility are obvious to you.
• You communicate and persuade skillfully at all hierarchical levels and on an equal footing. Thanks to your engaging presence, you also manage to convince critical voices.
• You have good knowledge of common computer tools and are comfortable learning new software.
• You speak and write French fluently (C2 level), basic knowledge of English would be an asset.
