What to expect- Ensuring safety and order in public spaces
- Preventive presence duties as well as intervention in events and emergencies
- Handling a variety of criminal complaints and reports including corresponding investigations
- Patrol activities and traffic control
- Close cooperation with internal and external partners
- Citizen-oriented police work with a high level of service orientation
- Deployment in order services as well as participation in alarm organisation
What you bring
- Completed police training (federal specialist certificate or equivalent)
- Impeccable reputation and high social competence
- Physical and mental resilience
- Teamwork skills as well as independent and responsible working style
- Good communication skills in spoken and written form (German, additional languages advantageous)
- Willingness to work irregular hours (shift work, weekends, on-call duty)
- Driving licence category B
- Residence according to §11 para. 1 Police Ordinance of the Canton of Schaffhausen (PolV), maximum 45 minutes from Schaffhausen
