This is what you can achieve.
- As a shift supervisor, you are responsible for the operational management during your assigned shift and represent the team leader during this time.
- Within the team, you are responsible for the operational management of personnel, trains, and vehicles. You issue functional instructions and assign them as needed to the group within your area of responsibility.
- You ensure that safety rules and processes, as well as punctuality and safety in the preparation of trains in your area, are adhered to.
- In case of deviations, you independently take measures to minimise the impact on customers and operations.
- You represent the interests of SBB Cargo in the event of disruptions. Based on your observations, you provide important suggestions for improving processes and resource utilisation.

- You possess comprehensive social and professional skills. You appreciate making decisions in unforeseen situations.
- A completed vocational training or several years of professional experience in the field of shunting as well as a good command of the national language are required.
- A confident use of Office 365 is natural for you, as is the application of working time regulations of the GAV and AZG.
- You have extensive experience in the field of shunting.
