Child and Adult Protection Authority Graubünden | 80-100 % | Samedan
The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB is there for people in need. Those who need help and support can count on KESB. No day is like another with us. In the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a safe future for vulnerable adults, families, children and young people.
We are looking for a lawyer for the KESB Graubünden, Engadin/South Valleys branch, from 1 March 2027 or by arrangement.
- Support and advice to authority members and guardians on substantive and formal legal issues (child and adult protection law, matrimonial and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
- Independent handling of assigned cases, including transactions requiring consent (Art. 416 ZGB)
- Drafting decisions in the assigned cases
- Secretariat duties for the authority
- Active participation in various project groups (e.g. practice development, legislative revisions)
- Minute-taking at hearings
- University degree in law
- Professional experience, preferably in a law firm or at court, and solid knowledge of private law
- Independent, resilient, flexible and networked thinking personality
- Very good oral and written expression in German, knowledge of Italian is desirable, further foreign language skills are an advantage
- Prudent, efficient and precise working style
- High service orientation and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Proven social skills and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
