Our Mission
The political municipality of Fällanden is the sponsor of the Sunnetal retirement center. The Sunnetal retirement center offers 32 residents a home where they experience appreciation, security, and social interaction. Our gastronomic offerings are also tailored to the needs and wishes of the residents. The public Bistro Sunnetal with a garden is a popular, intergenerational meeting place and is visited by a diverse clientele – whether for "Kafiträff" or for lunch. The Bistro Sunnetal is also booked for club and family events, and our gastro team also offers catering services.

- Personnel, professional, organizational, and financial leadership and continuous development of the gastronomy team (kitchen and service)
- Responsibility for an attractive menu and offering planning for our residents, the public bistro, and for internal and external events
- Production and presentation of dishes as well as implementation and compliance with food safety regulations
- Purchasing and calculation while adhering to the budget
- Presence and participation in production and service
- Maintaining customer contact and addressing questions and needs
- Ensuring a service-oriented and customer-focused attitude as well as efficient workflows in the entire catering area
- Collaboration in the management team and interdisciplinary cooperation in the operation
You have completed training as a chef and have several years of professional and leadership experience in gastronomy. You have complemented your practical experience with leadership and management training and have continuously furthered your education. You love to develop the offerings and cooking techniques. Social skills in dealing with older people are a must, and experience in a similar establishment is an advantage. You enjoy leading a team, promoting employees, motivating your crew to achieve peak performance, and implementing new ideas. With your business acumen, you keep our bistro financially on track. Cross-departmental collaboration and flexibility are a matter of course for you. You are communicative, resilient, and solution-oriented. Additionally, you possess a quick grasp and pronounced organizational skills. As a chef, your passion for a creative, seasonal cuisine with high-quality basic products sets you apart.
