About the job
The WABE Foundation supports adults with disabilities and offers 38 residential, 33 day-structure, and 15 sheltered workplaces. For over 30 years in Wald, we have been committed with heart and professionalism to quality of life, self-determination, and social participation.
The Internal Services team consists of the laundry, housekeeping, main kitchen, and technical service. In our work mandate, we guide our supported employees with care, empathy, and a good eye for smooth processes. For our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a person who brings organizational talent, gladly takes responsibility, and enjoys pedagogically accompanying people in everyday life.
Your tasks
- Leadership and guidance of supported employees considering their individual resources and goals
- Maintaining client documentation, such as progress reports
- Work as a contact person
- Professional work guidance according to pedagogical principles to promote and qualify the supported employees
- Active participation in housekeeping as well as coordination and timely execution of tasks
Your profile
- Completed training as a textile care or housekeeping specialist EFZ
- Additional training in work pedagogy desired
- Enjoyment in guiding and accompanying employees with support needs in their daily housekeeping work
- Strong social skills and good physical and mental constitution
- Open communication style and ability for self-reflection
