The Terra Vecchia Foundation works with people towards the future. For people with or without addiction disorders, we offer a variety of services within the framework of work integration, housing support, and inpatient social therapy.

Social Therapy Specialist with a Focus on Process Support 80%
Your new workplace is the inpatient social therapy in Brienzwiler in the Bernese Oberland, a group programme for people aged 18 and over with an addiction disorder or dual diagnosis. The programme is abstinence-oriented and aims, through social therapeutic, work integration, and experiential pedagogical elements, to initiate developmental processes and develop perspectives for as self-determined and autonomous a life as possible.
Your tasks
- Care and process support for individuals and small groups
- Case management including administration and report writing
- Planning and conducting group sessions and theme-related events
- Care duties in the residential groups including leisure activities and promotion of housing skills
- Participation in the experiential pedagogical programme
- Close networking with all therapy groups, social therapy and work specialists, as well as co-management
- Conducting crisis interventions in close collaboration with the team
- Taking on responsibilities and active participation in working groups and committees
- Coordinated collaboration with cost bearers, external specialist agencies, and relatives
Your profile
You hold a diploma/BA in Social Work or Social Pedagogy. In addition, you have expertise and experience, preferably in the areas of addiction disorders and dual diagnoses, communication, and support of individual and group dynamic processes in the inpatient setting. Further training in practice supervision or willingness to undertake further training is a plus.
You work with commitment, independently, solution-oriented, and at the same time appreciate exchange and close collaboration within the team. Participation in weekly meetings and the therapy group, in individual camps, as well as taking on evening, night, and some weekend duties is feasible for you. A category B driving licence is required for this position.
