About the job
Flying Teachers offers two teaching assignments for German lessons in Grindelwald (on site).
Levels: A1/1 and A1/2
Start date: immediately
Day / Times: Tuesdays
- A1/1: 18:00–19:00
- A1/2: 19:05–20:05
Number of lessons: Both courses each comprise 10 lessons of 60 minutes.
No lessons on 6 and 13 October 2026.
Who are we?
Flying Teachers is a private language school founded over 25 years ago. We are based in Switzerland but also have offices in Germany and Hungary. We teach a wide range of languages and offer tutoring for children in mainstream schools. We provide intensive courses for all age groups and work in-house to offer targeted language solutions.

- residence near the published location and a work permit for Switzerland
- experience in online teaching; knowledge of online tools is an advantage
Requirements
- SVEB training or completed studies in German as a foreign language (FIDE certificate advantageous)
- experience in adult education
- experience teaching German as a foreign or second language
- native German speaker or C2 German proficiency
- strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with people
- patience
- flexibility and adaptability
- willingness to undertake further training
