About the job
The National Roads Department Area VI of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St. Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and St. Gallen through its maintenance work. For this purpose, the area unit has four depots in Thal, Mels, Biäsche and Oberbüren as well as two bases in St. Gallen and Müllheim.
For the Operations and Safety Equipment BSA area in National Roads Area VI, we are looking for a
Project Manager BSA, Electrical Department (m/f/d)
Workload: 100%
Workplace: St. Gallen
What to expect
- Independent supervision and execution of conversion projects (UplaNS) in the areas of power supply, lighting, ventilation, traffic, communication and control systems
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of smaller plant renovations and system renewals within the framework of structural maintenance (KBU)
- Preparation and review of offers and calculations, including monitoring of results
- Invoicing of services to third parties as well as participation in budget planning and cost control
What distinguishes you
- Technical basic training, preferably as an electrical installer EFZ
- Further training as an electrical project manager installation and safety, certified electrical engineer HF or comparable qualification
- Confident negotiation skills with suppliers, authorities and other stakeholders
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
- High resilience and flexibility
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office and modern digital tools
