Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Technical Editor, you will play a key role in creating precise and clearly understandable technical documentation and instructions. Your tasks include:
- Responsibility for creating, updating and optimising technical documentation, manuals and operating instructions.
- Collaboration with development and engineering teams to collect and interpret technical information.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality guidelines.
- Maintaining and updating existing documentation to keep it up to date.
- Training and supporting junior editors in the team.
- Contributing to the design of clear and consistent writing style and formatting.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in Technical Communication, Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in technical editing, ideally in [your specific industry].
- Expertise in the use of editorial and publishing tools.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and understandably.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems.
- Team orientation, organisational skills and willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
