Consultant Neurologist specialising in Cerebrovascular Diseases 100%
Your tasks – our position
- Independent management of an outpatient neurological consultation
- Inpatient: joint care of patients in our certified Stroke Unit
- Organisational and technical development of the "cerebrovascular diseases" specialisation in collaboration with the clinic management
- Interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration, especially with inpatient internal medicine, intensive care medicine, emergency services, radiology and outpatient sectors
- Shared responsibility for on-call neurological services
- Planning and implementation of continuing education, supervision of assistant doctors
- Contribution to establishing a dynamic and value-oriented work culture
Your skills – our expectations
- Specialist title in neurology (FMH or MEBEKO recognition)
- Several years of experience and interest in the care of patients with cerebrovascular diseases (especially acute care of ischaemic cerebral attacks (stroke))
- Certificate of additional training in cerebrovascular ultrasound and/or EEG, ENMG SKGN/FMH or equivalent expertise would be an advantage
- Enjoy working in a team and professional exchange
- Patient-centred commitment
- Orientation towards medical quality standards including cost-effectiveness, innovation and optimisation of work processes
- Very good knowledge of French or German. Willingness to learn the other language
