Apprentice Polymechanic CFC
G&F Châtelain, branch of Chanel SARL is Chanel's watchmaking and jewellery manufacture in Switzerland. Responsible for developing, manufacturing and assembling the brand's watches and jewellery, our site brings together a wide variety of trades combining artisanal know-how and very high technology.
The polymechanic manufactures parts, tools and devices in metal, sometimes also in synthetic material. They assemble devices, machines or robots, programme, control, maintain and repair industrial production installations. The nature of their work depends on the speciality of the department in which they will be active for the production of watch components (machining centre, tooling, prototype). Most machines are equipped with numerical controls that the polymechanic programmes to achieve the desired work. They must have extensive and diverse theoretical and practical knowledge, including machining processes, materials, heat treatments, reading plans, etc.

- Quality training leading to a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) with technical baccalaureate
- An interesting and varied apprenticeship: 2 years at the Jura Arc Training Centre and then 2 years in the company
