In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The integrated treatment offer of the clinic includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special education teachers. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre category A.

Profile

• You have completed an apprenticeship or A-levels
• You have further training in the area of classroom assistance
• You enjoy working in a team
• You appreciate collaboration with teachers
• You are interested in issues from child and adolescent psychiatry as well as the entire spectrum of remedial and special education
• You are flexible, committed, resilient and enjoy working in a development-oriented environment

Tasks

• Classroom assistance in the clinic special school, focus on cycle 1
• Individual support and accompaniment of young people in everyday school life in cooperation with the class teacher
• Assistance in implementing educational and social objectives
• Organisation of breaks, mid-morning snack situation, play animation
• Support in organising and conducting lessons
• Collaboration in classroom organisation and order
