About the job
Your new role
As an ICT System Engineer, you ensure the stable and secure operation of the specialised applications, ICT infrastructure, networks, and ICT systems of our vehicle fleet. You analyse technical faults, coordinate their resolution, and ensure that recurring problems are sustainably solved. You accompany changes, updates, and new technical solutions from conception through testing to successful introduction into productive operation. A particular focus is on ICT vehicle technology and its interfaces with specialised applications, backend systems, and other surrounding systems. You work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and external service providers and contribute to the development of technical specifications and solution concepts. You support the integration and commissioning of ICT components and continuously develop existing services and technical solutions. Up-to-date and comprehensible technical documentation is also part of your responsibilities. Cyber security and a secure, standardised ICT operation are a natural part of your work. With your technical expertise, you help strengthen ICT as a reliable service and solution partner as well as an enabler for the digital advancement of VBSG.
This position is for you if
- you are a team-oriented, responsible, and solution-focused individual who approaches complex technical problems in a structured manner.
- you hold a university of applied sciences degree in computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- you have experience in ICT system engineering, operating technical ICT systems or specialised applications, and ideally in ICT projects.
- you are interested in networks, interfaces, system integration, and the connection between ICT and vehicle technology, and consider cyber security an essential part of modern and responsible ICT operations.
- you work in a service-oriented manner and value collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, and external partners.
