Laboratory Technician (Analytical Focus)

We are looking for a graduate.

Your tasks

• Analytical support for chemical process development as well as participation in process optimizations
• Preparation, execution, and documentation of analyses, method developments and validations according to internal guidelines, ISO 9001, and other quality standards
• Independent scheduling and co-responsibility for release analytics including troubleshooting and result evaluation
• Implementation and optimization of analytical methods (especially GC/HPLC, titration, UV/Vis, IR)
• Maintenance and support of QC plans and software/LIMS systems
• Maintenance, servicing, and qualification of analytical instruments as well as preparation of test instructions, validation reports, and device SOPs
• Training and guidance of shift employees and apprentices
• Close collaboration with production and interface functions as well as participation in innovation and optimization projects

Your profile

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician EFZ (specializing in chemistry) or comparable qualification
• Practical experience in instrumental analytics and ideally in quality control
• Strong safety and quality awareness
• Interest in analytical questions and enjoyment in solving technical problems
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style with high initiative
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as willingness to share knowledge
• Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office and affinity for software-based laboratory and LIMS systems
