- Operating, maintaining and further developing security-relevant ICT systems and services of the Swiss Army
- Management of client/server infrastructures with Windows and virtualised environments
- Ensuring software distribution, installations on specific environments as well as maintenance windows
- Coordination of releases and deployments with application managers and software suppliers
- Participation in incident management (2nd and 3rd level support)
- Ensuring and updating system documentation, instructions and checklists
What you bring with you
- Education or advanced vocational training in the field of computer science, alternatively career changers with comparable professional experience in ICT specialist application operation
- Profound knowledge in software and operating systems, especially Windows and Windows Server
- Experience with PowerShell scripts in application and operational environments
- Good knowledge of the ITIL process landscape and preferably experience with agile methods
- Independent personality with strong communication and organisational skills
- High customer and service orientation as well as sensitivity to user needs
- Very good German skills and English skills (level B1-B2) are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
