As a trusted physician, you advise our service specialists on all medical questions. You act as an intermediary between service providers, CSS and, if applicable, insured persons. This is what your everyday life looks like
- At the heart of it: You assess the obligation to provide benefits within the framework of the compulsory health insurance in accordance with the legal requirements of Art. 57 KVG.
- You prepare the trusted medical assessments in the form of a reasoned recommendation to CSS.
- Advising is your passion: You especially support the questions of the service experts with your expertise.
- You move between service providers, CSS and, if applicable, insured persons in a mediating role.
- Your insurance medical focus is on effectiveness, appropriateness and cost-efficiency and you convey your medical recommendation regarding CSS’s obligation to provide benefits and communicate with the service provider if necessary.
- There is the possibility to take on the role of department head in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
What you bring with you
- First and foremost: You are a specialist doctor and have worked for at least five years in a medical practice or in a senior hospital position and ideally have broader medical knowledge.
- It is clear that you enjoy not only the insurance medical aspect but also advisory communication on an equal footing.
- In addition to being a specialist doctor, you may also have completed training as a trusted physician. However, this is not mandatory.
- We are nationally anchored – therefore very good German skills are essential. Do you also speak French or Italian? Even better!
- Do you enjoy being among people? Your trustworthy and collegial personality is appreciated in the team and you also promote collaboration within and outside the team.
