The Justice of the Peace is the Authority for the protection of children and adults. As such, it acts on request or ex officio. At the end of the investigation, a decision is made whether or not to establish a protection measure. The Justice of the Peace also has competences in inheritance matters and in the area of bans.

Your tasks
- Managing and monitoring the Judge's diary, contacts with Justice of the Peace partners, including gathering information and arranging appointments, support to the registry
- Taking hearing minutes on the fly and by dictation
- General correspondence, summons, opening files and maintaining digital and physical files
- Notification of court decisions
- Telephone answering and front desk, general information to third parties
- Filing of files
Desired profile
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent experience
- Several years of professional experience
- Flexibility, sense of responsibility and discretion
- Excellent command of IT tools (MS Office) and office equipment
- Ease in contacts and teamwork
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in French or German with excellent knowledge of the other language (min. B2)
