About the job
Procap Switzerland is the largest self-help and membership organisation for people with disabilities in Switzerland. In an exclusive mandate, we are immediately or by arrangement seeking an analytical, proactive and digitally savvy individual to help shape the finance department and actively drive the further development of controlling. In this newly created or further developed role, you will take on a central role in building modern FP&A, reporting and control instruments, thereby making an important contribution to the sustainable financial management of the organisation.
Your Tasks
This exciting role offers the opportunity to actively shape modern controlling approaches in a diverse NPO environment with a family-like and appreciative corporate culture. You will actively advance the transformation of existing controlling towards a modern and control-oriented FP&A environment. In addition, you will continuously develop management reporting, key figures, dashboards, forecasts and planning tools, thereby creating solid foundations for business decisions. You will conduct target-actual, budget and variance analyses, derive concrete recommendations for action and actively participate in the budget and forecast process.
Another focus lies in the establishment and further development of cost accounting as an instrument of financial control. You will analyse financial and operational key figures, take on a business partner role for defined organisational units and advise managers on business management issues.
Furthermore, you will ensure reporting to the Federal Social Insurance Office (BSV), cantons and other public funders and drive its continuous optimisation. You will prepare financial and performance data, support closing activities and assist internal and external stakeholders with reporting and accounting queries. In the course of digital transformation, you will actively contribute to the automation and further development of controlling, planning and reporting processes, support the introduction of modern FP&A, BI and reporting tools and take responsibility as a power user in relevant projects.
Your Profile
For this position, we are looking for an analytical, digitally savvy and solution-oriented professional with a passion for numbers, processes and change:
- Education or training (e.g. federal professional certificate) and experience in finance and accounting with 2-3 years of professional experience in controlling, FP&A or finance
- Good knowledge of accounting, budgeting and financial analysis, especially very good Excel skills as well as a strong affinity for numbers, data and IT
- Experience with ERP, BI, reporting or planning systems; knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central is an advantage
- Experience in change or digitalisation projects, for example in the introduction of reporting, MIS or cost accounting systems
- Strong analytical thinking skills and enjoyment in critically questioning and further developing processes
- High social competence as well as initiative, networked thinking and teamwork skills
- Very good German skills; French skills in spoken and written form are an advantage
What Procap Offers
- Meaningful specialist role in a committed non-profit organisation
- Close collaboration with a collegial department and executive management
- Workplace 3 minutes from Olten station
- Possibility of home office
- Attractive social benefits
