We are looking to recruit a Radiology Technician – Permanent Position – 100%
Mission:
- Independently and accurately perform radiological examinations including conventional radiology, MRI, CT scans as well as diagnostic mammographies.
- Ensure comprehensive, high-quality and safe patient care throughout the examination process, paying attention to their comfort and safety.
- Prepare and rigorously check the technical equipment necessary for examinations, thus guaranteeing optimal and safe operation of the devices.
- Efficiently manage patient flow, coordinate appointments and ensure smooth organisation of the radiology department.
- Precisely document each examination in compliance with current standards and ensure traceability according to applicable regulations.
- Strictly adhere to and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, hygiene and safety procedures in accordance with Swiss standards and FOPH requirements.
- Actively participate in ongoing training according to the FOPH ordinance to maintain and develop professional skills.
Profile
- Mandatory education and experience: Holder of a Bachelor’s degree as a Radiology Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Switzerland within a recognised hospital or clinical setting.
- Essential technical skills: Autonomous mastery of complex radiological examinations including conventional radiology, MRI, CT scans and diagnostic mammography, with great attention to detail and safety.
- Patient management: Excellent ability to provide comprehensive and high-quality patient care, with a keen sense of listening, respect for hygiene and safety standards, and the capacity to effectively manage patient flow.
- Languages: Native French required for optimal communication with patients and the medical team. Proficiency in English at C2 level is highly desirable for interaction in a multicultural environment and understanding international protocols.
- Personal qualities: Rigour, autonomy, team spirit and adaptability to demanding and constantly evolving procedures, notably regarding quality audits and FOPH standards.
- Bonus: Knowledge of German at C1 level will be an asset for working in a bilingual or trilingual context, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration within Swiss institutions.
