Medical Radiology Technician

On behalf of our partner, a recognised player in the medical imaging sector in Fribourg, we are looking for an experienced Medical Radiology Technician (MRT) in mammography.

You will work in a modern environment, equipped with high-performance equipment in MRI, CT (scanner), conventional radiology and mammography, within a dynamic team committed to quality care.

Your tasks

Your mission will be to carry out conventional radiology, MRI, CT scans and diagnostic mammography examinations independently and accurately, in accordance with current protocols.

In this capacity, you will be required to:

• Perform conventional radiology, MRI, CT and mammography examinations.
• Ensure the reception, information and support of patients.
• Guarantee the technical quality of examinations as well as compliance with radioprotection rules.
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in the daily activities of the department, including the preparation and control of equipment.
• Ensure traceability and documentation of performed examinations.
• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and processes.

Your profile

• Bachelor of Medical Radiology Technician (MRT) or equivalent recognised qualification in Switzerland.
• Continuing education in accordance with FOPH requirements.
• Confirmed and essential experience in diagnostic mammography.
• Ability to work independently on this type of examination.
• Fluency in French, both spoken and written.
• English and/or German are an advantage.
• Rigour, sense of responsibility and excellent patient orientation.
• Team spirit and professionalism.
