Then the apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ is just right for you!
In this apprenticeship, you manufacture mechanical components, set up CNC machines, build prototypes and assist with the commissioning and maintenance of machines and systems. You will gain solid insights into modern manufacturing technologies and work closely with various teams.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Manually and mechanically process workpieces.
- Set up, operate and program CNC machine tools.
- Assemble measuring instruments and operating equipment.
- Join assemblies using welding technology.
- Build prototypes and participate in commissioning.
- Plan, monitor production processes and support maintenance work.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Are at intermediate or higher school level.
- Achieve good results in mathematics, technical design and STEM subjects.
- Have manual skills and enjoy technology.
- Possess good logical thinking and technical understanding.
- Work carefully, team-oriented and above all reliably.
