Mission 21 is involved in projects of sustainable development cooperation as well as humanitarian aid. Our work is guided by the UN Agenda 2030. Mission 21 provides educational work, promotes interreligious understanding and creates transcultural encounters. 

Mission 21 is ZEWO and EduQua certified and is supported by the Protestant churches of Switzerland, the Directorate for Development and Cooperation (DEZA), foundations, institutions and private donors.

Your Profile

• You are a visionary and strategic thinker
• You have a good network in the Protestant church, in politics or in other relevant social areas
• You have good language skills in German as well as English skills (additional language skills welcome) 
• You personally attend four board meetings per year in Basel and additionally contribute to working groups (online)
• You enjoy volunteering for a value-oriented organisation
