Information and documentation specialists manage media and information stocks. You deal with selecting, indexing, storing, preserving and conveying media and information, for example files, books, photos, newspapers and documents.

- Selection and acquisition of media
- Information provision and processing of customer enquiries
- Direct customer contact and advice
- Research in catalogues and databases
- Processing media
- Creating content for social networks, designing exhibitions
- Organising events and guided tours
Qualifications
You are particularly characterised for this apprenticeship by:
- Secondary school leaving certificate with good grades
- Interest in books, media and new technologies
- Enjoyment in dealing with people
