The Crans-Montana Clinic , nestled in the heart of the Valais Alps, is a hospital site of the HUG. Its hospital missions consist of caring for patients for rehabilitation in general internal medicine and psychosomatics, polyvalent post-operative or post-hospitalisation rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Crans-Montana Clinic holds FMH recognition for general internal medicine and trains internal medicine doctors. It develops academic research projects in connection with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva.
You provide high-quality therapeutic massage services under the delegation of physiotherapists, in accordance with professional standards, therapeutic prescriptions, and institutional values. You actively contribute to the well-being, safety, and dignity of patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
You perform treatments adapted to the needs and abilities of each patient, notably using techniques such as classic massage, fascia and connective tissue massage, reflexology, manual lymphatic drainage (according to specific training), as well as certain thermo- or electrotherapeutic applications.
You support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, observe their clinical progress, and communicate relevant information to members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
You participate in the continuity and quality of services by working closely with physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, and other professionals involved in patient care. You also contribute to the integration and supervision of new colleagues, students, and trainees.
Meticulous and organised, you know how to set therapeutic priorities, manage your activity autonomously, and maintain precise documentation in the electronic patient record. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a strong team spirit.
Qualifications
You hold the Federal Certificate as a medical masseur or masseuse.
You possess solid knowledge of pathophysiology and rehabilitation principles. Experience in hospital settings, rehabilitation, or interdisciplinary care is an asset.
You appreciate working in an interprofessional team and actively contribute to a respectful, inclusive care environment centred on patient needs.
You are proficient with common IT tools and electronic care documentation. You have excellent communication skills and a very good command of spoken and written French.
