Deputy Head / Deputy Department Manager Fruits & Vegetables
Mission
- Proactive sales and advice
- Recognise, seize and communicate customer needs to the Department Manager, who is the hierarchical superior
- Ensure good presentation of goods, ensure freshness and seasonality (shelves, 2nd point of sale, promotional location)
- Ensure labelling complies with the labelling concept
- Carry out inventory according to the specifications
- Note complaints and forward them accordingly
- Active participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP)
- Effective collaboration with internal and external suppliers and with customers
- Regularly pass on information and knowledge acquired to colleagues
- "On the Job" training for employees and apprentices
Required skills and qualities
- Completed training in the food sector, with solid knowledge of fruits and vegetables
- Experience in a comparable role and good product knowledge
- First successful experience as a team leader
- Enjoyment of customer contact
- Training in forklift and/or pedestrian pallet truck operation (SUVA standard) appreciated
- Availability to work Saturdays and start your shift from 6 a.m.
- Good command of MS Office
- Excellent command of French
