Tasks
• operational handling of air freight transports from A to Z
• obtaining freight rates from airlines and agents
• booking cargo space
• calculating and offering ad-hoc prices
• communicating with customers, airlines, and agents
• monitoring and advising ongoing transports (ETD, ETA)
• electronic customs declaration using e-dec
• checking freight, transport, and customs documents
• approving incoming invoices
• receiving and checking damage reports
• inquiring with transport insurers
• billing and archiving orders
Requirements
• Basic training as a freight forwarding agent
• and/or several years of professional experience in operational air freight handling (preferably general cargo)
IT
MS Office - good knowledge
Languages
German: spoken and written good
English: spoken and written good
