Our business unit Load Cells & Platforms (LCPF) develops weighing sensors as well as hardware and software platforms for the entire global METTLER TOLEDO Group. For our operational global headquarters in Nänikon/Greifensee, we are looking for a committed and development-oriented Team Leader Mechanical Design & Programme Manager MFR Load Cells 100% (all genders) for our Research & Development (R&D) department. In this role, you will undertake the following activities: You will lead a highly qualified Mechanical Design team of 4 to 5 employees both professionally and disciplinarily, develop it purposefully and create the framework conditions for a high-performance, self-responsible collaboration. You will actively participate in the development of innovative load cell solutions and contribute your sound technical expertise to ongoing projects as well as to technical decision-making processes. You will coordinate and prioritise resources and activities within the team and ensure effective collaboration with adjacent departments. You will take on the management of demanding, international development programmes in the field of load cells and lead interdisciplinary teams across multiple locations. You will manage complex development programmes regarding deadlines, costs, quality, and resources, providing clear orientation even with differing requirements and priorities. You will work closely with our development and production sites in Switzerland and China. You will ensure professional stakeholder management, communicate confidently across different professional and hierarchical levels, and align diverse interests in a goal-oriented manner. You will identify technical and organisational risks early, make well-founded decisions, and actively drive pragmatic solutions forward.
